Safety Health and Environment Coordinator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Coordinator based in Port Louis. The SHE Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with environmental and safety standards, developing and implementing safety and environmental policies, and evaluating environmental impacts. The role involves monitoring workplace activities, conducting environmental risk assessments, and staying updated with environmental laws and regulations to promote a safe and sustainable workplace.

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework
  • Ability to implement and enforce our Safety, Health and Environment Management System (SHEMS)
  • Relevant educational qualifications in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Professional certification in health and safety compliance is an advantage
Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Team player while having the ability to work in solo
  • Driving License
